Kanan Jaswal's Thoughts of the Days of March 2023

Mar 01:     When a crime finds societal acceptance, the entire society should be charged for it.

Mar 02:     Why can't we accept it gracefully that a waxing love will some day start waning?

Mar 03:      Inspiring one poor person to come out of poverty is far better than lecturing on poverty removal all the time.

Mar 04:      Friendship for all - animate or inanimate - is the highest religion.

Mar 05:      Despite the Chinese killing 20 of our soldiers in a treacherous attack in the Galwan Valley in June 2020, we Indians are getting more and more enamoured of Chinese products. This is evidenced by our trade  deficit with China more than doubling in just two years, from $45.8 billion in 2020 to US$101 billion in 2022.

Mar 06:      While the strength of a chain is that of the weakest link, a team is as strong as the captain.

Mar 07:      Being successful in your chosen field is not rocket science, unless, of course, rocket science is your chosen field.

Feb 08:      One can be friendly to all but friends only with equals.

Feb 09:      More important than the novelty of an idea is its practicality.

Mar 10:      Humour is the lubricant that prevents the wheels of life from getting jammed.

Mar 11:      It is not difficult to be original because no one else can see the world with your eyes.

Mar 12:      True success is a habit and not one big achievement we can bask in the glory of which for the rest of our lives.

Mar 13:      If you take credit for your successes and look for the fall-guy for the failures, you have aged without maturing.

Mar 14:      That who sees himself or herself separate from the team can never be a leader.

Mar 15:     True leaders do not need an enemy to unite their people.

Mar 16:      In a money-laundering case, a Rajasthan judge has granted 87 adjournments to the accused who belongs to a political family. Forget the idea of becoming the Vishvaguru, and bring about judicial reforms to save this nation!

Mar 17:      A leader should have no favourites on a permanent basis.

Mar 18:      A truly great person inspires others to find greatness in them.

Mar 19:      Look a stranger in the eye and smile; now you have one stranger less in the world.

Mar 20:      Go away Yesterday, my hands are already full with Today!

Mar 21:      You may have complaints about what life has given you, but are you satisfied with what you have given to life?

Mar 22:      Success going to your head leaves there no room for new ideas.

Mar 23:      Find time for yourself, so that you can have it for others too.

Mar 24:      An opportunity not availed of is a part of the life not lived.

Mar 25:      Do not avoid the mirror, it is waiting to tell you something important.

Mar 26:     We all wish for a better tomorrow but are we working for that today?

Mar 27:     If you can inspire only one person, inspire yourself to live a life worth living.

Mar 28:      We are all mortals but we can do a few great things to immortalise certain moments.

Mar 29:      By worrying constantly, are we not inviting our worries to come true?

Mar 30:     There can be no such thing as an angry argument because when angry, one is in no position at all to argue.

Mar 31:     If none of the candidates is good enough, we should vote for the least bad. But vote, we must!
