 Apr 01:     It can be said with certainty that uncertainty is the new spice of life.

Apr 02:     In India, most college students do not want to study and most college teachers do not want to teach; they are, as if, made for each other. 

Apr 03:     Without a certain amount of discipline among its members, no organisation can function, but the problem arises when even a mild dissent is throttled in the name of enforcing discipline. 

Apr 04:     Inspiring others is not even half as tough as inspiring yourself.

Apr 05:     Good for you to know that you are weak; now do everything possible to make yourself strong! 

Apr 06:     Happiness is finding your life’s purpose and living it.

Apr 07:     That there is strength in numbers is applicable to problems as well. They are, therefore, best tackled one by one.

Apr 08:     Life is never dull for those able to crack a joke at their own expense, provided they don't believe a word of it.

Apr 09:     "I think, therefore, I am", and I do, therefore, I become. 

Apr 10:     Living within our means is great, and so is trying to expand those means through fair and honest means.

Apr 11:     Whenever unhappy, for a reason or not, just try to relive in your thoughts the most beautiful moment, so far, of your life.

Apr 12:     The success was tantalisingly close, yet you failed; are you sure it was not because, deep inside, you were afraid to succeed?

Apr 13:     Being alone and not at all feeling lonely is a sign of maturity.

Apr 14:     Friendship without mutual respect can at best be only transactional.

Apr 15:     Competently performing any leadership role should not be too difficult for those who very well remember the difference between how they had been led and how they wanted to be led. 

Apr 16:     The rest of the world is so much used to seeing the Hindus as underdogs that even a mildly assertive behaviour on their part can give rise to Hinduphobia all around.

Apr 17:     Until recently, only one particular state would threaten a nuclear attack against its neighbour and the latter's protector in order to have its way with them, but now such threats to cross the nuclear Rubicon have become more commonplace. 

Apr 18:     Instead of expecting gratitude from others, we should be grateful to them for giving us an opportunity to be of some help.

Apr 19:     When the destination is clear but the way to it is not, finding or even crafting an optimal way is really a test of our ingenuity and perseverance.   

Apr 20:     'Plan imaginatively for the macro and execute efficiently and effectively at the micro' should be the mantra for an individual's, an organisation's, and also for a nation's progress.

Apr 21:     When a lamp lights another, they become equals; true teaching should also lead to a similar outcome.

Apr 22:     Criticism, howsoever well-focused it might be, does cause some collateral damage. 

Apr 23:     In a universe expanding in all directions, those who try to maximise their achievements in diverse fields really belong.

Apr 24:     Blessed are the organisations where the bosses can tell jokes and be the only ones laughing at them. 

Apr 25:     Is there anything you have done so far for which you will be remembered with gratitude? If not, there is still time; decide on some such thing now and do it.

Apr 26:     Sometimes, the situation can only be saved by taking the plunge. 

Apr 27:     Even the most cowardly can have bold ideas and they must more and more to break out of their cowardice one day. 

Apr 28:     Leaving perfection to God, let us make excellence in most things, if not in everything, our motto. 

Apr 29:     Looking back in anger nails you inexorably to the past.

Apr 30:     Enough is enough; even looking at the things purely from the angle of its self-interest, India should now lose no more time in raising its influential voice against Russia's inexcusable invasion of Ukraine.
